Shea butter is obtained by pressing walnuts which grow on the shea tree. It has been used for centuries in West and Central Africa. It is well known for its moisturizing qualities to soothe thirsty skin. Particularly thanks to its antioxidants properties and its vitamins A, C and E, shea butter has the ability to reduce skin problems. It possesses the ability to improve pesky skin blemishes, eczema, wrinkles and dermatitis. This butter is also known to soothe insect bites, sunburn and frostbite.

Indeed, the vitamin E is also known for its role in reducing signs of premature aging, reducing stain of skin and stretch marks.

Vitamin C is the only antioxidant that has been proven to increase collagen synthesis. Collagen synthesis is essential to maintain healthy skin. We even include Grape seed Oil which has a high content of linoleic acid, a fatty acid essential for the cell membranes and the skin. Grape seed oil serves as a wonderful moisturizer and truly nourishes the skin. Vitamin C is thought to fight oxygenated free radicals which can cause damage to skin cells. Researchers have recently discovered that shea and mango butter can in fact reactivate dying skin cells and are able to combat free radicals which cause skin to age prematurely.

Mango butter has been used for centuries in tropical zones. It is extracted from the Mango seed kernel. It is similar to shea and coco butters; however it differentiates with its contents in fatty acids, making it a more intensive moisturizer. Indeed, Mango butter contains natural emollient qualities that help keep the skin and the hair moisturized.

On top of its deliciously sweet smell, Mango butter is full of antioxidants, vitamin A, C and E which work to combat free radicals - which can be found in air pollution and sun’s rays.
